Join us for a magical choral performance from Encore Contemporary Choir in the tranquil urban oasis, the Garden Of Reflection.

Encore Contemporary Choir launched in February 2011 under the musical direction of Emmet Doherty. The initial concept of Encore was to do something a little bit different, something that the city of music hadn’t seen before.

From humble beginnings in a local school classroom with 24 original members, over the last decade they have delighted audiences throughout the Maiden City and beyond, with their unique and colourful take on contemporary music.

Accomplishments to date include three hugely successful sell-out shows in Derry’s own Waterside Theatre and Millennium Forum. In addition to this, they have performed not once, but twice for His Holiness The Dalai Lama.

They are currently in preparation for their next big show, which will take place in the Waterside Theatre on February 24th 2024!
