FAQs

  • Our spaces are suitable for groups from 2 people to 100 people. This might include board meetings or interviews; sessions for your service users; or public events where you want to engage with a wider audience.

We are a home for the community and voluntary sector, so we particularly welcome bookings from non-profits and social enterprise organisations. However, we're happy to hear proposals from anyone and will consider most bookings that are feasible, and that don't go against our policies.

  • As a shared space, we strenuously enforce a policy of political non-alignment, but we welcome community engagement on political issues.

For example, this means you could hold a multi-party elections hustings, but you could not hold an event for a specific political party or interest.

  • Similar to our political policy, we have a strict policy on being religiously non-aligned.

It's no problem if your organisation is faith-based, but the event is non-religious or cross-community. However, you could not book our building for an event that was religious in nature, or if you were going to perform a religious function /ceremony / rite as part of it.

  • Our building is generally available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, except for Bank and Public Holidays.

  • Yes, but it would be conditional on a few things. We need to approve unsocial hours bookings on a case-by-case basis, so please get in touch and we'll be happy to discuss your plans.

  • We have a 48-hour cancellation policy.

This means there's no charge if you cancel more than two days from your booking. If you cancel within two-days, we may have to partially or fully charge for the booking.

  • No, unfortunately you may not order your own catering to our venue. Our Front Of House team would organise this on your behalf from our trusted suppliers.

  • Sorry, but we do not offer concessionary rates for charities. We are a registered charity ourselves, and we think our rates are already favourable compared to other similar venues.
